Today I begin an exciting collaboration with The Texas State University Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Rod Schueller, who perform the complete Symphony No. 1 this week, as well as in Seattle in March at the National CBDNA Conference, and the first movement at the 2011 Texas Music Educators Convention in February. My residency in San Marcos culminates with the ensemble’s concert on Friday.

Have a great few days at my alma mater. I wish I weren’t so swamped this week and the concert was some other day than a Friday night or I’d come for a listen. Take care.
