Tonight I leave for Cincinnati, for the James Logan Wind Symphony premiere of Symphony No. 1, My Hands Are a City at the 2009 WASBE Conference at the College-Conservatory of Music. The amazing JLWS is conducted by Ramiro Barrera. I’ll also be taking part in WASBE’s inaugural mentoring program, as Resident Mentor Composer.
