This week I’ll be in Japan as a guest of the Japan Wind Ensemble Conductor’s Conference, where Climbing Parnassus, a new work co-commissioned by “The Heartful Winds”, Nagoya Wind Symphony, Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble KANADE will premiere on the final concert of the festival with a special ensemble combining all the commissioners.
