This coming week sees two exciting performances: On Tuesday night I will conduct the world premiere of Chunk, with the commissioning ensemble, the University of Nevada Las Vegas Wind Orchestra, directed by Thomas G. Leslie. And Nov. 23rd the University of Minnesota Duluth Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Mark Whitlock will perform my most recent work, As the scent of spring rain…, which will be only its second performance ever.
