It’s been quite a while since the last news update so there’s much to report: AVENUE X, a new work for winds commissioned by the 13-school “Chicagoland Consortium” in Illinois is complete and ready for prime-time. Premiere week starts May 9, and I’ll be posting a sneak-peak score in short order. Also, this weekend sees an exciting performance of The Rivers of Bowery, played by the commissioner, Bill Berz and his Rutgers Wind Ensemble, at the estimable and marvelous-sounding Carnegie Hall!
